Our Team
Brad Olsen, President
Brad is the Mt View CPA President and original founder of the company. His dad was a bookkeeper and he started at a very young age doing tax returns because his dad would pay him a dollar a return. Growing up, he also was an avid boy scout. He will tell you he almost got his eagle but was two merit badges away. Nowadays he loves hiking, dogs, and spending time with the grandkids. “I love working on my tractor,” he says.
Wendy Mecham, CPA
Wendy is our Director of Standards, meaning she makes sure all the work put in is up to par with state requirements. Besides working at Mt View CPA, she also teaches payroll and accounting at Centralia College. Plus, she is a mom of five kids. Wendy volunteers with gymnastics, booster club, girl scouts, and POGO (parents of gifted organization). And she enjoys photography and scrapbooking in “the spare time she doesn’t have”. She graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and is a QuickBooks certified pro, so feel free to ask her any of your tax questions.
Otto Rabe, CPA
Otto is our director of operations and also teaches at Centralia College. As director of operations, he makes sure our firm has enough work and coordinates our services. At Centralia College, he was the head of the accounting department and helped to initiate the Forensic Accounting Club and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center (VITA). Otto served in the Navy and the Army for 21 years after which he was the CFO (chief financial officer) for Naturally LLC. He is a helicopter pilot and he played drums in a church band. He also loves scuba diving! He has three children and a dog named spot.
